d\u2019<strong>Alzheimer<\/strong>, les chercheurs en neuro-\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie de Bordeaux ont lanc\u00e9 un grand projet de recherche : l\u2019\u00e9tude B cube. Cette \u00e9tude s\u2019appuie sur la participation d\u2019un peu <strong>plus de 2 000<\/strong> <strong>personnes<\/strong> \u00e2g\u00e9es de 55 \u00e0 80 ans vivant \u00e0 Bordeaux, dont les habitudes de vie (comme la nutrition ou l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique) et les donn\u00e9es biologiques sont \u00e9tudi\u00e9s en lien avec le fonctionnement du cerveau et la sant\u00e9 mentale. La maladie\u00a0 d&rsquo;Alzheimer\u00a0 r\u00e9sulte d&rsquo;une lente d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence des neurones, d\u00e9butant au\u00a0 niveau\u00a0 de l&rsquo;hippocampe ( une structure c\u00e9r\u00e9brale essentielle\u00a0 pour la\u00a0 m\u00e9moire) puis\u00a0 s&rsquo;\u00e9tendant au reste du cerveau.
